AN AGNOSTIC SEES JESUS. by T.L.Osborn

He was a member of a religious-political group that had vowed to drive Christianity out of India. He stood with his arms folded hating every thing we were saying about Jesus. Then as we preached ,suddenly The Lord appeared right in front of him. He opened His hands where the young man could see the scars and stretched them out toward him. Jesus spoke "Behold My hands, I am Jesus"The young man fell to the ground weeping, when he had regained control he came running to the platform and grabbed the mike with trembling hands, and appealed to the crowd"What this man is telling us is the truth, I saw Him! I saw Jesus! I saw the scars in His hands! He,s alive."

I was in Le Havre, France and the power of God was being mightily manifested. A Greek man called Felix attended the meetings and became very zealous for God. He found a certain woman who was bedridden, she was fixed in a certain position and couldn,t move. Felix told her about the healings that were taking place at the meetings. She asked her husband to allow me to come and minister to her, after persuasion he agreed, and I went to her home.Her childlke faith was a joy to behold.I showed her my bottle of oil and said"this oil is a symbol of The Holy Spirit, when I annoint you with it The Holy Spirit will begin to work and The Lord will raise you up."The moment the oil came upon her God did a wonderful thing.I looked toward the window and I saw Jesus(I have seen Him many times,there is no painting or work of art that can capture the beauty of my Lord.)She felt the power of God and cried "I,m free,my hands, my shoulders are free, and oh I see Jesus! I,m free I,m free."The vision vanished and she sat up in bed. I looked and saw The Lord again. She saw Him too and cried"He,s there again! I,m free I,m free"She got out of bed and walked round the room praising God, we were all in tears as we saw His wonderful works.

A BLIND MAN SEES THE LORD by T.L.Osborn

An old blind man came to a stadium where we were preaching. Suddenly he fell to the ground and saw a bright light.Jesus appeared in the light. everybody thought he had died, but soon the old man got to his feet and started yelling "I can see, I can see, Oh I saw Jesus, He opened My eyes, I can see!" It was a precious miracle.

SHE SAW HIM

But Mary stood weeping outside the tomb ,as she wept she stooped to look into the tomb;and she saw two angels in white sitting where the body of Jesus had lain,one at the head and one at the feet. They said to her, "woman why are you weeping?"she said "because they have taken away my Lord and I don,t know where they have laid Him."Saying this she turned round and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus. He said "Woman why are you weeping?whom do you seek?"Supposing Him to be the gardener she said to Him "Sir, if you have carried Him away,tell me where you have laid Him and I will take Him away"Jesus said to her "Mary" she turned to Him and said in the hebrew tongue "Rab-bo-ni" which means teacher. He said to her"do not hold Me, for I have not ascended to the Father; but go tell my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father; to My God and your God

I have seen The Lord

It,s amazing I know but it,s true. I saw His hands and His feet, I saw His glory. His eyes are deep pools of fire,St. John says," He was in the beginning with God and He was God, all things were made by Him, and without Him wasn,t anything made that was made. Yet when He made His appearance among men He was despised and rejected of men,a man of sorrow and one with whom is acquainted bitterest grief. But He is wonderful, He,s a Saviour, a Healer, a Mighty Deliverer.He did many miracles among the people. What do YOU want from Him? what will YOU ask Him for? do you need a new clean heart?
Say this to Him "Jesus You are alive! You would not deserve to die, I was the sinner, I deserved to die but You died for me, in my place, thank You Lord, why did You love me so much?I ask You to impart new life to me today, give me a new clean heart. I accept You as my Lord and my King. Fill me with new joy and peace today. I recieve the Holy Spirit now. I thank You amen."

Sadhu Sundar Singh saw The Lord

Three days after Sundar had burned the bible in front of his father he awoke at three in the morning and went out into the moonlit courtyard for the ceremonial washing observed by hindus and sihks before prayer.He then returned to his room and knelt bowing his head to the floor, he pleaded with God to reveal Himself, nothing happened, Sundar had determined to throw himself in front of the 5.00am Ludhiana express that passed near his home every morning, hoping thereby to find peace in a re-incarnated life,the time for the train to pass by was approaching.Again he prayed,he lifted up his head and was surprised to see a faint cloud of light, it became brighter and brighter, suddenly Jesus appeared in the light. Jesus Christ was there in the room radiating an indescribable joy and peace and love. As Sundar looked,amazed, The Lord spoke "why are you persecuting Me? I died for you" Sundar fell to his knees before The Lord enrapt with an unutterable peace . The vision disappeared, but the peace and joy remained.

WHAT IS KERYGMA?

The Kerygma pre-dates modern and 16th century evangelicalism and the Reformation,it pre-dates the 11th century schism, the Kerygma came before the church of the apologists or the Patristic church, it was before all episcopalianism or clericalism with its liturgicalism and sacramentalism. The Kerygma comes before all, and is before all. The Kerygma IS the power of God. It is the simple poclamation of good news, good news of what God has done in sending His Son to die upon the cross,to make a way possible for the hearts of men and women to be made clean from sin.All who will come to God in simple faith and believe that Jesus bore their sins on the cross, can find forgiveness and cleansing. Since it was (and is) sin which has made the separation between God and man with it,s cleansing comes restoration in man,s fellowship with God. In the simplest possible terms God made mankind and God loves mankind He greatly desires friendship with mankind- YOU-our fellowship with God is in our hearts wherein dwells the spirit, but the consequence of sin is that our spirit is dead and needs to be made alive or re-born God does this by imparting to each one who will come in simple faith the wonderful gift of The Holy Spirit.A new inner life even the life that Jesus promised" He that believeth in Me out of his belly shall flow streams of living waters this spake He of The Holy Spirit who will be given to those will believe ".
